You are really a nice guy. Always trying to find excuses and
reasonable explanations for odd behaviours. :-)

I am sure there must be at least one person in RITLabs who knows how to
set up templates and auto-reply in TB (assuming they do use TB for
their e-mail). It would be nice to receive a reply saying "Thank you
for your message... blah, blah, blah.", perhaps even suggesting going
to BugTraq to report the bug and with a few indications on how to use
the system.

Such an auto-reply would make you feel that there is at least one
computer out there who cares about what you may have to say and
report. But no, it looks like not even a computer cares :-(
