:-)) I agree with you on this. There's really no excuse for no response especially with auto-responders available. Auto-responders aren't totally useless especially in this instance where the autoresponder could explain to the sender how their bug report will be handled and when and if they'll receive a direct response. As a rule the developers used to respond to initial bug reports and not subsequent reports. Those who reported bugs after the initial report would therefore be left in the cold wondering what happened to their query. It all appears quite untidy to me personally, and I can't help but voice this concern even though I very much support Ritlabs and their great product with its many controversial design philosophies. I do realize that they listen and develop their product in the interest of their users. It's this very last point that keeps me encouraged. Of all things to lack they at least don't lack this one quality and is all that really matters in the end. :-) However, bad public relations can make users get the opposite impression and feeling supported is one of the ingredients to a rich and loyal customer base. - -- -=Allie C Martin=- List Moderator | TB! v1.60j | Windows XP Pro PGP/GPG Public Key: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=2B0717E2 _________________________________________________________________ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iD8DBQE81t+SV8nrYCsHF+IRAmk+AJ93MMHqM74qkcdcHYVa9BK2e63q7QCg78BU sPb4DUUPc1Waf5mwrWwVaO4= =Nhwg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.60i FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Bug Reports: https://bt.ritlabs.com
