Does it make any sense?  Nobody knows and nobody cares.  Words are on paper,
job is done.

Good for you for stepping up to fix this.  Definitely, STC needs to be THE
organization that sets a better example in this area.

In our chapter we're setting up co-chairs for all jobs with the recognition
that things happen at work and at home.

I'm preparing a presentation for our March seminar; after that I've
committed to two newsletter articles per year and I would work on Program if
two other people will serve with me.
