Ever been around a group of people doing something that looks really interesting and want to be part of the group? That's the "buzz and desire" factor -- it's not advanced sociology, just elementary playground dynamics... And imagine how you'd feel if you discovered that they were just putting this thing on in order to get your attention so they could sell you something? Think of recent "fake blogs", or people in bars trying to create buzz around the latest new bottled cocktail by posing as a group of regular customers. All I'm saying is, find something that fits your resources, that you find genuinely interesting, and that fits the mandate of your group, and do it. Do the hell out of it. Not just to be seen, but because it's something you really want to do (but of course, be seen doing it, because you do want others to notice and check you out). First thought: get a group from within your chapter to wield your Powers of Information to help out a good cause. Come up with a project that's small, time-limited, but aimed in such a way as to have a big effect. Do the good for them, and blog about it on your own site; it ain't boastin' if ya done it... -- Milan Davidovic http://altmilan.blogspot.com http://www.terminus1525.ca/studio/view/2758 ______________________________________________ Author Help files and create printed documentation with Doc-To-Help.
