That's easy enough. It's all about personal drive and responsibility
there. RealWorld aside, this is cake.

I have one question for you: How? That is, how do you suggest we all
drive people to do this? You see, this is the core of the problem -
you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Many
chapters and SIGs have these grand plans and wonderful dreams, and
people are in fact doing the work. Messages go out about progress,
blogs are posted on chapter pages, STCForum is updated with progress
and stumbling blocks... But despite all this, and with all the "hey
guys, we need a hand!" requests that come in, volunteerism is always
at the convenience of the volunteers. How do you suggest that hurdle
be hopped?

Mind you, this is the million dollar question. Rhetoric buys you
nothing save a kiss from the chicken. ;-)
