Hi Ken

I did some research for a client into cheap PDF creators last year.
Results here: http://www.cybertext.com.au/tips_acrobat.htm NOTE: they
had quite specific requirements, which may not match yours. But at least
you'll get a starting point for some 6+ apps.

Subject: [TCP] Acrobat clones?

Gang,

Because I just don't happen to have $500 or whatever it costs now, I
can't swing purchasing Adobe Acrobat.

Like many of you, it was no problem working with pdf files while you're
employed as a full-timer (or DO have the bucks to buy this great
program). I had used Version 6 at a previous while with a previous
employer.

But I don't fit into either category, at least not right now.

That being said, are there any Acrobat-type programs out there that are
either free-ware, shareware or at least not stratospherically priced?

I already have PrimoPdf (I think that's the name, but am not at home
right now) and it is good at creating pdf files.

However, I need more of the Acrobat functions like cropping, inserting
and deleting pages, etc., etc.

So what say ye?
