*************** On Adobe's side, I don't see how they could be held responsible for guessing that a purchaser would want a new product on the horizon but not yet released. Mindreading and time travel abilities aren't going to arrive for all of us until Christmas 2012 (or a comet is going to hit us on that day -- the Mayans weren't specific), and we all know how those release dates can be pushed back, and back, and... If I was the Customer Service manager at Adobe, I'd do my very best to convince upper management to approve an automatic extension of the 30-day credit policy to 60 days (or maybe even 90 days) when new products overlap like this. We would not lose money, we'd be investing in customer good will and loyalty. But what do I know, I'm just a tech writer.
