Is it just the printer share that they can't connect to or is it any share?

This is really confusing me. I was told that this happened after a Windows Update, but for the life of me I cannot figure out what happened to kill it. From what I have read online, there is no way to roll back a Windows Update. They have a Ricoh MP C4000 printer/copier that is connected to their network. They have Windows server 2003 as their server. They have Windows XP on their workstations, and one Windows 7 machine. I was told that after a recent update, all the Windows XP machines stopped printing. The Windows 7 machine prints just fine. I have taken a look their server, and their workstations, and I can see what the issue is, but I am lost as to how to fix it. All the machines can see the server, but none of them can connect to it. I have checked user accounts, permissions, etc, and all looks good. What confuses me is how the Windows 7 machine works just fine and can print at will, but nothing else will. > > If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, I would appreciate it. > > > William Upp > Technology Coordinator > Computer and Business Instructor > Scott-Morgan School District #2 (Bluffs Schools) > | Subscription info at http://www.tech-geeks.org | > | Subscription info at http://www.tech-geeks.org | | Subscription info at http://www.tech-geeks.org | NOTICE OF CONFIDENTIALITY The information in this email, including attachments, may be confidential and/or privileged.
