Just found out that I cannot ping the server or the printer from my laptop, or 
from workstations (except the Windows 7 workstation).  Everything is on the 
same subnet, same gateway address, etc.

Speaking of drivers, XP and V/W7 drivers do not play well together.  Always 
look for UPDs-universal print drivers that cover all M$ stuff.
