Think we all are overlooking a easy test ! The Famous Ctrl+Alt+Delete will bring up a window to show you what's running ! Jot down the names of the programs that are running. Then go to Windows Explorer ( not the Browser - dadgummit ! ) and click "Tools" and enter in the name of the program to search for. Take note of what folder it is in and use Explorer to go to that folder contents and double-click the 'readme' file which will tell you what it is for. Or use Google and enter in the program name as it appeared in the window and it usually will show you some websites to go to and find out. That was what I did before I got spybot and regularly go to above and anything 'new' will be spotted right away after you get used to what should be up there. As for 'cookies' I selected the restriction in the Browser that it goes back only to the site that put it there. Best: Eugene
