Whether the 7000 or 8000 really gives you full functionality with multiple L3 profiles remains to be seen, as I haven't tried this yet. Multiple L2 profiles are a bit more straightforward when they're simply tagged VLANs. This is partly why I am exploring the idea of using L2, or some combination of QOS profiles like Randy got running.
