Hi Joel,
Yours is not a PMX bug, but a simple typo of yours: you wrote
2 0
instead of
20
for the musicsize.
I have the following recommendations to you, both for yourself and for
future postings to the list:
1) the 12 input parameters in the preamble are easier to check if
you group them in a meaningful way, e.g. in your case
2 1
3 4 0 6
0 1
0 4
20 0
(that way you would have seen immediately that you had one too
many)
2) for some reason you gave a printed "common time", whereas your
actual meter is 3/4. Whether this was another typo or you had
some strange reason to do this I don't know; while to do so is
formally OK in PMX, it certainly is quite misleading to the list
members who may be willing to help you,
3) when asking for help on the list, it is best to boil down your
example to the minimum that exhibit the problem. In your case,
cutting the example down to just bar 2 would have been a bit more
helpful.
4) ties come out MUCH better if you use the PostScript slurs
package (without that, they aren't graphically different from
slurs). For details cf. the manual, e.g. mine:

Happy and successful New Year to you!
