I am using git.  I prefer to use git because I can prepare a set of
small patches, then look them all over and make sure they are right,
then push them all.  I have no problem with the central repo being svn.

The only reason I can see to change from svn on trac-hacks is that it
would make permission management issues go away.  If users could fork
trac-hacks it would make it much easier for me to accept patches.  It
would also allow newer, more maintained repos to "automatically" replace
stale and dead ones, based on user demand.  Basically, it would
eliminate the need for an admin to manage permissions.  

That said, for now I think just upgrading trac-hacks to 0.12 with the
same functionality would be a huge step forward.  There are other issues
that are much higher priority then DSCM, IMHO.  Not having "next ticket"
link in ticket view is horrible and makes managing my ticket queue a
nightmare!  :D
