I think they try to turn things around as quickly as possible, and will do the neat 3 day trick if possible. However, I am getting the feeling that parts availability is more chaotic than before. With companies having fewer orders for parts, the level of spare stock seems to have gone down, and some places wait for a certain level of orders before making more parts. So when you take "just in time" coupled with a downturn in parts sales, Lenovo and everyone else has bumps in obtaining the stuff they need. --STeve Andre' _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad
