The Thinkpad-style keyboards clearly don't have the "desktop feel"
(which to me mostly relates to the distance traveled by the keys), but
other than that they are great w.r.t footprint (I use a "ultranav
travel" thinkpad keyboard, with trackpoint and touchpad and really love
them).
