Thanks Jerome, Alex, Aryeh and David for your input. Based on your experiences, I have decided not to give the "Endurapro" a try. I'm also not sure if I will make an attempt at the Lenovo keyboard with Trackpoint, considering that I generally prefer desktop keyboards over laptop keyboards. I might try it out if I find one in a store.

The input devices currently connected to my desktop computer (not an IBM/Thinkcentre) are

- Microsoft Bleutooth Mobile Keyboard 6000
- Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000

I am actually quite satisfied with this setup. There is a slight delay in keyboard response after a pause in activity which can sometimes lead to unexpected behavior due to a lack of mouse--keyboard coordination (such as Shift-Select), but one gets used to these things. Also the battery life of the keyboard is phenomenal. The mouse uses laser technology and is very precise, but it sometimes jumps when it encounters light-colored dust on my black desk.

My reason for looking into the Endurapro was to get a keyboard with a more desktop-like feel combined with a smaller footprint thanks to the trackpoint pointing device.

Cheers, Alban

Hello,

I bought one of these many years ago. It felt like a non-ThinkPad
pointing stick.
No negative inertia and scrolled at a different speed than my ThinkPad 770X's
built-in TrackPoint. The keyboard part worked as expected.

Regards,
