Shopping so far shows t410 has weak GPUs so used lenovos seem a bad option.
You can get a refurbished T410 (with factory warranty) for just over $500. Buy a warranty extension from Lenovo and you don't need to worry about the GPU for several years. Drop in a SS disk and it should be plenty fast for you, even with the i5 CPU. (Put the disk that comes with it into the ultrabay for backup.)
