Yes, it requires a special power adapter in order to
function. Certain aspects still work (like ethernet pass-through),
but much of it (such as the USB ports) does nothing unless it's
plugged in to the wall.
Ok that explains it :(
Shame as i was hoping to use it as a "riser" and to keep the t60
cooler when running off battery.
Thanks for the information about the ethernet I have managed to find
the manual but it says
just about nothing apart from plug it in to the power and put an
ethernet cable in. :(
