By using *any* ThinkPad docked you're likely to get it hotter, not cooler. Unless one is using a fanned dock, which I don't believe exists for T6x range ? The machine needs to be on a firm surface so the heat can be disbursed from the bottom..."raising" it the way you had in mind would be counterproductive in this respect. ? Cheers, ? George

Ok that explains it :( Shame as i was hoping to use it as a "riser" and to keep the t60 cooler when running off battery. Thanks for the information about the ethernet I have managed to find the manual but it says just about nothing apart from plug it in to the power and put an ethernet cable in. :( Martin N Running MorphOS v2.6 (Nov 2010) on Mac Mini, Moderator of MiniDisc, amithlonopen, bwfc Yahoogroups _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad
