4.8Gb/s is pretty damn fast (SATA-III is 6Gb/s). So even if USB-3 will
never actually manage to make effective use of that bandwidth, it might
still be comparable to SATA-II. And for swapping you need low-latency
more than high bandwidth, so even an SSD connected via SATA-I is
a pretty good option.
