Joe, I use portablefirefox 3.5 ( http://www.portableapps.com ) on win2k, winXP, winV, and win7 with no problems - the only thing I did out of the box was use firefoxprivledges plugin (tw) to remove all of the warning messages. . .
Regretfully FF is growing in bloat, but still better than IE, and better plugin support than chrome. I imagine if all of the major browers close off TW save capabilities, one of the great dev's will find a work around. . .
