There are media-queries in place that hides the usual sidebar in the desktop view. The sidebar class in itself is modified to be hidden in the desktop in addition to the topbar menu which switches the sidebar. Once that is done you need to restructure tiddler frame and edit frame to act in accordance with the usual sidebar, as they are not. Also the topbar will have to be modified for the same. All these plus the necessary changes when you go below the media-breakpoint will get you what you want.
