The complaint is made (sometimes by me) that one can not easily find things 
in the google forums. But at least you *can *find it. My understanding is 
that  everything on IRC pretty much disappears. If you weren't following 
and capturing the information, it's gone. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone 
will correct me, which is a real time saver ;-)
