Resurrecting this thread... I got hold of one of these, and after much
mucking around, it seems to work. (it's defaulted to startup in binary
mode and no linux drivers can understand that, so you have to switch it
into NMEA using the Windows config program, then switch binary mode off
using a command from the spec sheet... the second step doesn't seem to
be documented elsewhere).
However it won't sync off it... there's a good signal coming in, and the
driver seems happy, but there's no sync.
