I bought the OO and document management modules - and I do not really mind the price - if I get something WORKING I need.
But I have to agree with some postings. I didn't look into the OO module yet. The - otherwise fantastic - document management module breaks the attachment naming and has some other blocker issues - see bug reports. IMHO it's part of community projects that some development and testing is done by the community members. But it should be also be part of the developers to acknowledge the bugs and repair them ASAP at least for partners accessible in SVN. And this testing should be done PRIOR to release. I would also have been happy to see a 4.2 RC2 release to avoid some bugs which have been introduced between RC1 and the final 4.2. In open source 1 or 2 weeks delay do not realy matter. Somehow I feel as a fool to pay for the development of non working modules. BTW the images in documentation of the document management system are not readable making it difficult to understand what to do. It's a pitty that someone is creating a document with unreadable screenschots as it takes the same amount of time to create good screenshots. _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
