I think this is a key issue too. I've followed many of your discussions
whicha re interesting.
Submitting bug reports with patches can be frustrating, waiting weeks for
feedback and then just being dismissed or told to re-submit at a later
stage...

Yes, for me personally I was shocked by the attitudes. It took me a lot
amount of time to get my v4.2 installation to work usefully. I've never been
involved in an OpenSouirce project that had so little respect for those on
an "old" version. Knowing that the community might just get upgrade scripts
at sometime in the future does not motivate me.

What keeps in interested is certain community members outside of tiny, who
are investing hard, and still hanging in there..

I think bazaar is a great step up from SVN. The bug/issue/feature tracking
tools and way of using them need improvement, but great strides have been
made since last June... Transparency, consistency and more trust of the
community are what I would like to see more..
