Whoa! Chris, you are suggesting that we ban other non-psychology spammers? Relax with a tootsie-pop. We all know how to hit the delete button.
I didn't suggest anything. I merely repeated what I understood to be the mission of this list. Discussion of teaching psychology by people who do so.

Relax yourself. My point (if you'll re-read the message) is that nothing anyone has suggested constitutes "censorship" under any reasonable definition of the term.

I'm not sure what all this talk of censorship is about. There is no
question of banning anyone on the basis of the *content* of his or her
posts (*that* would be censorship). It is whether the individual
qualifies to be a member of this list. If we set a policy that
individuals who mislead the list with respect to their professional
status are not welcome, that's not censorship (anymore than it is
"censorship" to bar people who do not, in fact, teach psychology).
