-----Original Message----- Well, it supports fax so it *may* support the TiVo's modem. But why would you want to use this? You have broadband, put the TiVo on a network.
Don't know his layout, but if his Tivo is next to his Vonage router which IS based on broadband, I don't see a reason for him to buy a network adapter for Tivo and put it on network - same thing is accomplished. $60-70 saved. He can also use the hard wires to bring his Tivo on network. -----Original Message----- If you're going to use WiFi, as opposed to Wired Ethernet, I would recommend using the TiVo-branded 11g adapter available on their website. Finding a compatible adapter at retail is a pain, and none of them will perform as well as the TiVo adapter since TiVo designed it just for their boxes and it offloads work from the CPU. I bought a Tivo approved adapter at BestBuy - I think it was Net Gear. It had a Tivo logo on it. IGGY ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Know an art & music fan?
