Do you have the same objections with your MTA software? qmail, postfix, exim, etc. all identify themselves up-front with non-customizable text in their auto-responses. What's the difference? Also, it's not just about advocacy. Why would someone _not_ want to include the TMDA notice? It clearly indicates that the message is machine generated and not a personal reply, which is a good thing.
