This thread stirred my brain so bad...that I cudnt' wait to read more
replies. One thing I noticed common in a lot of replies here - many of us
have wished/luvd/thought of this idea for a long time within ourselves.

I have been thinking over this idea all day today pretty much, and as of now
I think we shud start the research phase. If not today, it will help
tomorrow. Nothing to loose over it. As we work on details and facts - we
will have much more clarity as to what to expect and what is involved. That
might be a better time to decide if we want' to take up this project, and if
yes, when ? -

Like I already mentioned, I have thought of something like this many a time,
but had my own qns / deadends. Our research will help eliminate many of
those apprehensions.

Lets form a team that will work on various areas of the research end. Who
all are interested in pursuing this idea further - theoritically to start
with - lets sign up. One of us can make a list of things we shud start
researching. Members who chip in - will divide the work based on
interest/feasibility.

Also, hundred things tend to come up as the thoughts flow from numerous
brains. They will all be scattered in diff emails, unless we follow a
certain procedure and divide the planning phase area wise - so tht
qns/concerns related to a certain area can be posted whr applicable.

PS: One of the strong points of this group btw is that we have all kinds of
brains here - a perfect set to be precise - to shape/implement projects.
Some who are optimistic at all times, some who are super cautious, some who
are strong supporters at all times, some who are almost always thr for field
work, some who will never go back on funding to extent possible, some who
are extremely committed to the group, some who are sensible navigators, some
who are too good at thinking outside the box, some smart observers who
advise at the right time & so on... Its like diff tools in a tool box :) We
cannot work perfectly with just one tool.
