Hi John. I had a look at the Touch.
The snd-usb-audio module is already there. What's required as far as I see it, is to a. load the module during boot b. and to adjust asound.conf accordingly. The key question is how do you load the module? Udev? Would be nice if you tell me/us quickly how you've done it. ( No in-depth explanation required). asound.conf is not an issue.
