Was the USB DAC hotplugged or there at boot, you get different results. The Wolfson is the internal speaker so you don't really need it. One of the jive_alsa processes is hard wired to card 2 (which is normally the Wolfson), that might be part of the problem. This looks like the DAC was there at boot which caused the card numbers to be switched around. Try hotplugging which should add the USB DAC after the others so it should not mess up the existing numbers. I think its going to take some udev programming to come up with clean card numbers, thats out of my realm of expertise. Yes if you have a 270x based device you will have to use plug, squeezeplay always sends out 24 bit. This is looking like hotplugging may be the best way to go for now, but that can cause problems after something like a power failure.
