DLNA is very simplistic and restricted in what it can do vs the very
powerful attributes of a full blown server program like SBS server.
It's like comparing a DTV coupon box to an actual HDTV.
Both will present the TV show (video and audio), but the coupon box has
many limitations, like limited to analog audio (no digital surround
audio) and limited to 480i (no HD video resolution).

Whether you need, want, desire these added features and benefits only
you can decide.
