Ah, you didn't mention hi-res before. I'm not sure if Squeezeplay supports hi-res. If it does, then using Squeezeplay on your computer, and controlling Squeezeplay with the Touch, will do exactly what you want.
I think SqueezePlay supports 24/96, but if doesn't, then some other alternatives are: 1) install squeezeslave on your pc instead of SqueezePlay. I'm pretty certain it supports 24/96, and maybe even 24/192. 2) put the SB Touch in your rack and use it as a digital transport. Then control it from your sofa with a real wireless device, such as an iPhone or iPod Touch running iPeng or an Android phone running SqueezeCommander. Or control it with a 2nd SB Touch, as toby suggested. This approach would bypass the high-end soundcard on your pc -- but you may well find the Touch is as good or better as a digital transport than your soundcard. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=85376 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
