Two possibilities, as toby mentioned. 1) Make sure that SqueezePlay is set up correctly on your pc. In my experience this isn't particularly tricky, especially for Windows. For this, leave the Touch out of the equation for now, and just try playing something on your audio system by sitting down at the pc and controlling it directly with SqueezePlay. If that doesn't work then you need to fix that first. Note that you most likely want to set the SqueezePlay volume at 100% and control the actual volume using your pre-amp.
If you're not getting sound this way, then post back. 2) After you've confirmed that SqueezePlay will send the signal to your soundcard, be sure to select SqueezePlay as the player your Touch is controlling. On the Touch look under Settings > Choose Player, and SqueezePlay should appear. Note that to control what the Touch is playing through your headphones you would need to choose the Touch as the player.
