I happen to be using Foobar so I checked if there was any problem outputting the music and none at all, it plays through the PC and goes straight to the stereo system too! so there is no PC related soundcard problem.
It is clearly only both SB Touch and Squeezeplay that do not have the required drivers for outputting sound to the soundcard. Conclusion so far is that the only way to enjoy a "facsimily" use of the SB Touch is to use a laptop with Squeezeplay and connect the SB Touch cabled to both the PC and the pre-amp in the stereo system. But then again... I think maybe using Foobar on the laptop and accessing the PC's music library on the wireless network would do the same job, better and for free! Alternatively, I can connect the SB Touch to my amp in the living room's mutli-channel setup but at the cost of a lower Hi-Fi quality than the main system. In fine, it looks like we have to wait for somebody to write a very, very simple, small application to do what I expected most! cheers Harold -- HARJAC ------------------------------------------------------------------------ HARJAC's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43735 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=85376 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
