Sorry for such a naive (probably very old) question, but after much Googling I cannot find the answer.
Can anyone explain why, when the SB Touch is being used in *standalone mode* (using tiny server or Logitech server, or whatever it's called these days) the router needs to be switched on? Does the Touch transmit the data to the router, and receive it back? Or what? I don't get what the role of the router is, when the music is connected directly to the Touch via USB. I know the router is required, because if I switch it off the Touch stops working. Any explanation would be highly appreciated! Thanks :) -- Dave1972 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dave1972's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44446 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93520 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
