Touch is two things internally a Squeezeboxplayer and a Squeezeboxserver .
When you run it standalone the two happens to be on the same box, the Tiny server can actually stream to other players on your network just as the Touch player can conect to another server. And then the whole internet radio and services thing . The Touch is a network music player, so the bug originated in that the dev's did not figured that a network music player would be used without a network.
