Once again, I don't disagree with your allocation of the relative importance of various components, but you forget the OP clearly stated his preference for his Creative MP3 player simply because it did have an equalizer. Hence my comment -- ...if the Touch had an easy-to-use equalizer, he'd think it the greatest thing since sliced bread.
