Installing EDO on a TOUCH will allow the touch to play 24/192 files via
digital coax S/PDIF or optical (assuming the connected DAC will play
24/192 via these inputs).  Regarding sound quality, there's little or no
evidence that the sound quality is any *different* with USB out as
compared with digital coax or optical, much less that it is better. The
author of EDO made that point long ago.
