It would seem to make sense that the add-on allows the SBT to be a higher resolution DAC than my Nova, doing the converting into analog at the SBT, and then you would want to output from there in analog form to an analog amp (if the amp has only analog inputs!). Am I totally missing the point? Do you simply HAVE to have an external DAC that has 24/192 ability?
