The EDO mod is for people that uses the USB on Touch to conect to USB
DAC's or think they need 24/192 spdiff output .
If you have none of these needs you can leave the Touch as it is and
also have working analog outputs .

Without EDO it does 24/96 on the digital outputs at the same time as the
analog outputs works as expected and the USB is used as an output .

Did anyone mention that you can run LMS on any computer on your the
network . I also have a dedicated server not a pi ( a hp microserver )
tucked away somewhere in my home .
It's no point having the server anywhere close to the hifi or other
player locations thats what you home network is for .
But when i started with squeezeboxes i runed the server on my desktop
for several years , then i decided that a dedicated server was good
solution .

Btw it is best practice to conect the server via ethernet , player can
be wifi conected , but maybe not with hirez files using the EDO app (if
you insist sending 24/192 files as PCM you would consider conecting the
player to ethernet to ).

My pow is that things that sit in the same place all the time can have
ethernet wires :) si i've always wired my home , wifi is for mobile
stuff , so in practice server and 3 of 5 players are wired in my
installation .
