Hello again,

I've been reading quite a bit about Pootle, the Translate Toolkit, PO,
XLIFF, and TMX file formats and the rest, although I've miles to go
before I sleep. I've managed to create a user id that allows me to
administer my site. I've added Thai as a language.

And I've joined a group called
  translation-team-th
  http://translationproject.org/team/th.html

Who have just sent me
  grep-2.5.4-pre6.pot, and
  grep-2.5.4-20090201.tar.gz

But I have been unable to discover how to add this project to Pootle.

It seems to me that Pootle likes to keep all its projects under
  /var/lib/pootle
whose sole occupant at this point is
  /var/lib/pootle/pootle

The gnu distribution directory, when untar'd, has all the stuff
described in the gettext documentation, including a po subdirectory full
of .po's and .gmo's for every language but th.

So... shall I make a
  /var/lib/pootle/grep-2.5.4
subdirectory and fill it with all those .po's, make a th.po from the
th.pot sent by the translation-team-th project and add that too?

Or can I make a th.po in the
  ~/src/c/grep-2.5.4-20090201/po
subdirectory, and then make a symbolic link to
  /var/lib/pootle/grep-2.5.4/po
?

Or what do you suggest?

Thanks for your help.
