Hi Chuck,

One way to go about your task would be to obtain the approvals specs for
the countries you would like to sell in. FCC Part 68 (US), CS-03 (Canada)
and NET4 is a good place to start in Europe. You should also be able to
find country specific specs for European countries. The trick is
designing
the DAA with both homologation and functionality requirements in mind. It
is possible, though. Then, during your design, if you had specific
questions, I am sure there would be people in this group happy to help
without charging a fee. I understand that to be the objective of TREG.

Also see http://www.rcic.com/. There are lots of modem design discussions
under TREG archives. Some may be out of date.

     Take care,

Chuck,

any particular reason why you think that people should give you, for free,
what took them years to learn ??? If a book existed, it probably would
have only information on generalities, not worth the purchase price.

Good Luck,
