  The basics should not take years to learn! The
performance/cost/regulatory balance is what could take years. Jack gave you
an excellent answer. In addition, you can contact, or search the web pages
of DAA component venders. There are also a handful app notes out there that
may help. Try these silicon and magnetics vendors (in no particular order):
