Steve needs to know one hell of a lot more about T1 and E1 products than the technical regulations, that in North America unfortunately still ask for 3rd party certification. Part 68 is the applicable technical regulation, NOT the applicable standard to desing a product to. There is a proper standard issued as ANSI.T1 ---- that gives line code requirements, channelization requirements, loop-back requirements, waveform template, etc., etc. Ciao, Vic Boersma
