That's not the issue (of course, if it *was* such a simple issue, no one would be upset by spam, would they?). Many people (including me) have their email systems set up to take specific actions when an email of "highest priority" comes in. In my case, my phone gets texted and the email is forwarded to a second account I check more frequently. Is all that actually necessary for something that truly isn't "highest priority?" I've yet to see a post from Vishal that I think most would consider truly an emergency. Understanding that your actions have effects on others is a sign of social maturity. Accepting that others may not want you to behave the way you do, and adjusting your actions when so requested (assuming it's a reasonable request) is a sign of social conscience.
