Yes, media files are left as an exercise for the reader.

Adding to the original list:

Almost everything:

. . .Contact pictures have to be redone.

+++I'd imagine any grouping or ungrouping of contacts (which I wish just
didn't happen) would have to be redone.

. . .Speed dials have to be redone.

. . Bluetooth pairing has to be redone.

+++Homebrew apps are all lost, along with their data, and all have to be
redone. I see no way to back up either apps or data.

+++Classic gets restored, but has to be reauthorized and any Classic Apps
and data are lost (unless backed up) and have to be reinstalled.

+++Alarms have to be recreated.

+++Launcher pages and icons have to be reordered.

+++Wifi settings have to be redone.

A fair amount to do, and I'm probably leaving out some stuff.

That said, I wouldn't trade!

Cheers,

Don

The most interesting bit for me is what does NOT get restored...seems
like it all should be (apart from those pesky media files). Settings,
at just a few KB apiece (if that), should be restored IMO.
