Another reason to handle them in Google Contacts or whatever cloud service you're syncing to, instead of via the Pre's profile combining feature, IMO. I really hope some inspired 3rd party dev creates a full-backup & restore solution, even if it means dragging out the old USB cable once in a while. Or, Palm/Sprint should offer a "complete backup" service for a nominal fee (e.g., $2/month) that backs up literally _everything_ on the device. I'm sure it's possible, so why not??
