You might want to check out Clear Card if you haven't already. I think it was only posted yesterday. It sits in the launcher and lets you basically see the wallpaper without any distractions. That is one of the things that bugged me about Switcheroo and my current similar app that I use (FlickrAddict) - the wallpaper is obscured by cards. In order to not obscure it I need to either make the cards small and drag the last one over (but it will come back if I let go), or simply close all apps. It would be nice if WebOS had some kind of minimize feature but it doesn't. So Clear Card seems to be the next best alternative.
